Otter River Run
Torbay’s V50 runner Pete Monaghan claimed a win for the second year in a row in (36:46) at The Otter 10k, on the mostly flat route which heads downstream alongside the River Otter, through Harpford woods, along the old Sidmouth railway line, back towards Tipton St. John.

Rosskopf-lauf Mountain Run
In Germany Debbie Drake ran the Rosskopf-lauf 18.4k Mountain Run with an ascent of 2494ft saying “It was 30 degrees and the course was quite technical up dirt tracks with rocks and tree roots very winding with sharp turns which gave the knees and ankles a good workout”. There was about 175 runners in the event with many more in the 10k, this was a tough race but Debbie Drake managed to hang on to claim 2nd FV 50 in (1.48.13)

Newton Abbot Carnival 5k
Cassandra Harrison was first lady finisher from the nine Torbay runners who ran in the Newton Abbot 5k Carnival Fun Run. A trail race organised by the Carnival Committee starting and finishing in the Decoy Country Park

Parke parkrun(150 runners)47 Hayley RATCLIFF(25:50)achieved a Pb saying “For once it wasn’t boggy but that hill never gets any easier!
Torbay Velopark parkrun (261 runners) 3 Shaun MCKERNAN (18:44), 5 (1st Lady) Iona FARQUHARSON (19:03), 26 David MAXWELL (21:46), 36 Keith SIMPSON (22:51) broke his Parkrun PB by over a minute coming first in his age category a good day!., 47 Stephen WILBRAHAM (23:51), 48 Sara Jane CROZIER (23:54), 89 Mark SMITH (26:43), 96 Peter MCCAIG (27:10), 97 Roger MATTHEWS (27:10), 112 Harvey BATES (28:17), 118 Isabelle SMITH (28:37), 122 Anita LEY (28:40), 124 Eve BATES (28:50), 161 Stephen LOFTHOUSE (31:44)
