Torbay AAC had a great day at The Totnes 10k with Peter Monaghan storming home in first place to win the race and also the mv50 age category.

Twenty eight runners from Torbay AAC gained a host of pbs, age category and team prizes. The light drizzle a welcome respite from recent hot, sunny running conditions. Athletes battled the trails (including cows), the shady, cool woodland tracks, the uphills and the downs for their place, their time, their team and the infamous Trotters cake. The ladies team claimed the first place prize (Betsy Bebbington, Sara Crozier, Fay Cameron and Hayley Ratcliffe),

Betsy Bebbington was 8th female overall and 2nd FV55, Sara Crozier was 2nd FV50, Hayley Ratcliffe 3rd FV50 and it was 3rd place for the men’s team. There were 536 finishers in the race.
