Torbay AAC’s Pete Monaghan had a great run at the Tavy 7 on Sunday. This 7-mile undulating scenic road race on the western edge of Dartmoor starts on Plaster Down and takes in Pew Tor and the hamlet of Sampford Spiney. Pete finished 7th overall in a time of (40:52) and won his age category.

Two Torbay AAC athletes took on the Plym Trail Half Marathon also on Sunday. Set in one of Dartmoor’s areas of outstanding natural beauty, Mark Luscombe ran in first for the club in a time of (02:13:13) followed by Gemma Radcliffe in (02:37:22).
