Seven Torbay A.C. Athletes ran Exeter’s Great West Run with over 2,200 other runners which takes a 13.1 mile route through the heart of Exeter with a fantastic stadium finish at the Arena athletics track. Steve Weeks, Sara Crozier and Gemma Radcliffe all ran pbs despite the wet conditions. Race positions and chip times on the day were as follows: 90 Steve Weeks (1:27.59) – 383 Kevin McGovern (1:42.32) – 400 James Hartridge (1:42.29) – 507 Nick Robinson (1:45.26) – 689 Debbie Drake (1:51.48) – 718 Sara Crozier (1:51:51) – 1826 Gemma Radcliffe (2:22.43).
Mark Bruce and Cassandra Harrison did the Chase Half Marathon in the lovely village of Six Penny Handley in North East Dorset organised by White Star Running and the final race in the Wyvern Series. The race was slightly longer than a half marathon at 14.8 miles, but both ran well with races positions and times of 22 Mark Bruce (2:12.53) and 54 Cassandra Harrison (2:30.55).
