Cross Country Newquay

On Remembrance Sunday 2018, 31 Torbay A.C. Junior and Adult members descended upon Newquay for the second fixture of the Westward League cross country which is also the Cornwall County Championship attracting some of the region’s best endurance runners. The rain held off for a change this year and despite the blustery conditions, a slightly longer course and several members being first timers, the Torbay AC athletes put in some superb performances, with several members achieving course PBs.

Once again it was junior Iona Farquaharson who produced the stand out performance of the day by winning the U13 Girls race which puts her 1st place in the overall league.
