💛 Our Grand Prix isn’t just about winning – it’s about taking part.
It’s about turning up in club colours, cheering each other on, sharing lifts, post-race coffees, laughs, nerves, and finish-line smiles. Every runner there is promoting the club and strengthening our team spirit – and that, in itself, is a win. ✨
Whether you’re racing flat-out, jogging it in, running your first ever event, or supporting from the sidelines – you belong in the Grand Prix. Every finish counts. Every appearance matters.
🏃♀️🏃♂️ Yes, there are points. Yes, points mean prizes. But the real goal? Seeing all those yellow and red vests on the start lines, enjoying races together, and reminding ourselves why being part of a running club is so special.
So in 2026/27, we’re:

✔️ And most importantly — having fun doing it

📋 The Small Print (aka the important stuff!)
• Of the 24 events listed, your best 7 results count
• You must compete in a minimum of 5 events to qualify for awards.
• Categories: SM, M40, M50, M60, M70+, SL, L35, L45, L55, L65+
🤝You must be a club member at the time of the event.
👕 Club vests must be worn at all events.
📝 Registration should be made under Torbay AAC.
📅 What’s New for 2026/27?
You’ll notice the calendar now includes a monthly social run 🎉
By adding these to the calendar, we can avoid clashes with Grand Prix races – helping maximise participation – and it also means everyone can save the dates well in advance. Win-win!

🍎 Camping Weekend Alert! 🍎
You’ll spot a Camping Weekend in the calendar too! In previous years we’ve had an absolute blast at the Rat Race, but sadly that event is no longer running. Instead, we’ve found a brilliant alternative — the Cider Challenge (yes… cider is involved! 😄).
This is shaping up to be a fantastic club weekend for runners and supporters alike, so we strongly recommend booking early to avoid missing out — on places and the fun!
