Totnes 10k

Nineteen TAAC members ran in the Totnes 10k, on a mostly flat course following the beautiful River Dart on tarmac, grass, and trails from Borough Park in central Totnes. There were many outstanding performances Pete Monaghan finishing 6th (38:36) to claimed 1st MV50 award, Ray Brown (57:26) 1st MV70 award Irene Hewings (59:07) 2nd FV 60 prize. The Torbay AC Ladies team of Sara Crozier, Tessa Hearfield and Irene Hewings took the 2nd Vet. Ladies prizes.

Bearbrook 10k 

Torbay AC’s Charlie Arnell was first lady finisher in 10th place in the Bearbrook 10k at Aylesbury in (36:40) on a very hot day! The fast, fairly flat 10 kilometer course is Aylesbury’s greatest road race now in its eighteenth year commencing and finishing at Aylesbury Rugby Football Club

 

Buffalo 716

At 7:16am in USA. Kersten Mundy ran New York State Buffalo 15k in (1:49:43). This event started from the Flying Bison Brewery where pre-race events provided plenty to do prior to this run through historic Buffalo’s new and developing Larkinville district! ending with live music and a post event party at our host sponsor, the post race party will be one of the best!

Straight 8

Fleur Ricklin was 2nd lady in the Greenbow Straight 8 race on Saturday evening, this was 8 Miles of flat as a pancake race route that started from Starcross to finish on the quayside in Exeter.Fluer who finished in (1:01:15) to claim 2nd Lady spot said “Gorgeous scenery and extremely hot conditions that tested everyone!”
