Only the modified Grizzly and the Parkruns reported this week due to the adverse weather

Torbay’s Darren Maynard ran in the reorganised Grizzly event at Seaton, due to the adverse weather conditions the usual “twentyish muddy, hilly, boggy, beachy miles of the multiest-terrain running” had to be reduced to a modified (10m) CUB route which was an ordeal in its-self in the toughest conditions of the 31 Grizzly events.
Despite the weather 1266 completed the route with Darren Maynard finishing 449th and 2nd in his in category (1:38:11) saying “What a day! I especially liked the beer stop a great touch! But the scary journey home, took 3 hours and it’s only 25 miles! A special thanks to all the marshal’s, coastguard, St. John who showed the camaraderie ofhumans at their best.
