Redbull 400

On Saturday Debbie Drake completed
the Redbull 400 at Titisee-Neustadt, Germany. This is an extreme 400 meter race which starts with a steep grass down hill then goes almost vertical where competitors have to crawl. Debbie knocked 23 seconds off
last years time in 07.44. Debbie reported that it was a party

atmosphere with lots of crazy people giving it a go.

Stoke Gabriel 10k

Nine Torbay A.C. Athletes braved the wet and windy conditions on Sunday         morning at the Stoke Gabriel 10k’ ish.

The race benefited from a new start and finish at the
football club, a very welcome shelter from the rain in which to enjoy
the lovely bacon butties and Hunters Devon cider. The course took the
runners on an off road adventure which included wading through the
river twice, across fields, down lanes and up a few hills. A fair few
runners took a wrong turn and ended up running further than expected as
if the ish bit wasn’t enough!

First home of the club wearing number 14 was Martyn Breslan in 14th
place 00:54.28. Other results were 45.Sara Jane Crozier 01:07.48 third
lady; 58. Steven Sharp 01:10.18; 61. Simon Gilboy 01:10.56; 64. Fay
Cameron 01:11.31; 71. Keith Simpson 01:13.02; 72 Ray Brown 01:14.19;
74. Craig McGuire 01:14.44; 81. Tessa Hearfield 01:16.37.

Dorset Invader Half Marathon

Truly fantastic time running the Dorset Invader Half Marathon today, which turned out to be 14.8miles! brilliant route and lovely to be running in the mud once again. Garmin clocked my time at 2hrs 13mims 15secs, which I’m happy with and finished 35th out of 328 He also managed to pickup my belated WSR 1st Marathon medal too

Cornwood 10k

Naomi Flanagan did the club proud by winning the women’s race and Pete Monaghan finished a respectable 3rd and 1st in his age category. (sadly no official results)
