Great West Run

Torbay AAC were not deterred by the rain over the weekend. Six athletes took on The Great West Run. The new and improved route took runners through Exeter City Centre down leafy roads with a sharp hill up to Exeter University before returning to Exeter Athletics Stadium with a lap of the track to finish.
First home for the club in position 105 was Steve Weeks 1:32:05, 166 Nick Robinson 1:35:34, 223 Ian Hayward 1:38:10, 443 David Maxwell 1:47:24, 483 Sara Crozier (3rd fv50) 1:48:04, 1072 Kav Solder 2:05:14, 1535 Gemma Radcliffe 2:21:28

Mark Luscombe

Two Torbay AAC members were amongst the 944 runners lined up for the Eden Half Marathon. Right on cue the heavens opened and gave the runners a good soaking as they waited to start. The route was muddy underfoot on sections. 186 Brian Lewis 1.52.21 493 Mark Luscombe 2.14.03

Tas Felsted

It was Mud and Sweat at the River Dart Country Park, fantastic little race with natural obstacles – 5km or 10km (2 laps). Really well organised event.
Tas Felstead was first in her category, and first female home for the 10km.
